Section 490.054 - "Resident" defined1. "Resident" includes, but is not limited to, a person:(a) Whose legal residence is in this State;(b) Who physically resides in this State and engages in a trade, profession or occupation or accepts gainful employment in this State; or(c) Who declares himself or herself to be a resident of this State for the purpose of obtaining any privilege not ordinarily extended to a nonresident of this State.2.
