Section 484D.430 - Operators: General requirements1. Every person who is responsible for hiring, training, supervising or dispatching operators of combinations of vehicles shall ensure that the operators meet the provisions of this section and may not knowingly allow any person who does not meet the requirements of this section to operate a combination of vehicles.2. An operator must be in good mental health and physical condition and must meet the requirements of 49 C.F.R. § 391.41, which is hereby adopted by reference. A copy of 49 C.F.R. § 391.41 may be obtained for $64 from the Superintendent of Documents, U.S. Government Printing Office, P.O. Box 979050, St. Louis, Missouri 63197-9000, or by toll-free telephone at (866) 512-1800.3. An operator must be at least 25 years of age and be competent, by experience or training, to operate a combination of vehicles safely.4. An operator must be able to read, speak and understand the English language at a level sufficient to communicate with law enforcement and be familiar with the laws and regulations pertaining to operation of combinations of vehicles in this State.Nev.
