Section 484D.095 - Parking brake: Performance standard

Every motor vehicle and combination of vehicles, except motorcycles and mopeds, upon application of the parking brake must be capable of remaining in a stationary position on any grade on which the motor vehicle or combination of vehicles is operated, under all conditions of loading, on a surface free from snow, ice or loose material.
