"Active control" means the electronic monitoring and control of the mechanical operations of an autonomous vehicle, including, without limitation, braking, steering and adjusting the throttle of the vehicle, by the operator of the autonomous vehicle through the use of sensors or other technology without the operator physically controlling such operations.
