Amateur radio station special license plates may be issued to a resident of the State who holds an unrevoked and unexpired official amateur radio station license issued by the Federal Communications Commission. This requirement does not include licenses issued by the Federal Communications Commission to amateur radio stations operating on either a temporary basis or as a portable station in Nevada, or the licenses issued by the Federal Communications Commission to one classified as a "novice."
