Section 459.7661 - Availability and calibration of instruments to survey and detect radiationA licensee shall:
1. Keep a calibrated and operable radiation survey instrument capable of detecting beta and gamma radiation at each field station and temporary job site to make the radiation surveys required by NAC 459.337 and 459.7725. The radiation survey instrument must be capable of measuring as little as 0.1 milliroentgen per hour and as much as 50 milliroentgens per hour.2. Have available additional calibrated and operable radiation detection instruments sensitive enough to detect the low radiation and contamination levels that could be encountered if a sealed source ruptured.3. Have each radiation survey instrument required under subsection 1 calibrated: (a) At intervals not to exceed 6 months; and(b) In accordance with subsection 2 of NAC 459.712.Nev. Admin.
