"Federally exempt radiography" means radiography of the breast which is performed during invasive interventions for localization or biopsy procedures and which is exempt, pursuant to the provisions of 21 C.F.R. § 900.2(aa)(1), from the requirements of the federal regulations adopted pursuant to the Mammography Quality Standards Act of 1992, Public Law 102-539, as amended.
