Section 453A.Sec. 153 - NEW1. A retail marijuana store may use any motor vehicle that can legally be operated on the highways of this State and that meets the requirements of this section to deliver marijuana and marijuana products.2. Before using a motor vehicle to deliver marijuana or marijuana products, a retail marijuana store must obtain the approval of the Department for the use of the motor vehicle. Upon approving a motor vehicle for use to deliver marijuana or marijuana products, the Department will issue an identification card containing such information as the Department determines to be necessary, which must be kept inside the motor vehicle at all times.3. A retail marijuana store shall ensure that each motor vehicle used to deliver marijuana or marijuana products: (a) Has no advertising, signage or other markings relating to marijuana; and(b) Is equipped with an audible car alarm.4. A retail marijuana store shall provide adequate care for perishable marijuana products including, without limitation, refrigeration during delivery, if required. Any method for temperature control used during delivery must be approved by the Department before use. If a potentially hazardous marijuana product is being delivered, the potentially hazardous marijuana product must be maintained at a temperature of less than 41°F (5°C) throughout delivery.5. The Department may inspect each motor vehicle used for delivery of marijuana or marijuana products by a retail marijuana store pursuant to section 85 or 86 of this regulation.Nev. Admin.
