Section 453.210 - Period for application; restriction on activities for which registration is required; expiration and renewal of registration
1. A person who is required to be registered:
(a) May apply for registration at any time.
(b) Shall not engage in any activity for which registration is required:
(1) Until his or her application for registration is granted and a certificate of registration is issued to the person by the Board; and
(2) Unless he or she is registered with the Drug Enforcement Administration to dispense controlled substances in this State and has provided a copy of that registration to the Board.
2. A person who is registered may renew his or her registration biennially by :
(a) Submitting an application for renewal;
(b) Presenting proof that he or she is registered with Drug Enforcement Administration to dispense controlled substances in this State; and
(c) Paying the renewal fee.
3. All registrations expire on October 31 of each even-numbered year.
