Section 450B.715 - Renewal of certification of nonresident who is no longer employed by service1. Except as otherwise provided in this section, the Division shall not renew the certificate of a person who holds a certificate issued in Nevada as an emergency medical dispatcher, an emergency medical responder, an emergency medical technician, an advanced emergency medical technician, a paramedic or an instructor in emergency medical services if the person is no longer a resident of this state and is no longer employed by a service that has received a permit from the Division.2. The Division may issue one renewal to such a person if he or she needs a renewed certificate to obtain reciprocal certification in the new state of residence. The person must meet the other requirements for renewal, including the requirement that a certificate must be renewed on or before the date on which it expires.3. To renew the certificate of such a person, the Division may give him or her credit for training which he or she has received in the new state if: (a) The training is approved by the agency which regulates emergency medical services in the new state;(b) The person submits documentary evidence of having received the training; and(c) The person makes a written request of the Division to accept the training before the final date for renewing the certificate.4. This section does not apply to the renewal of certificates of persons certified pursuant to the provisions of NAC 450B.363.Nev. Admin. Code § 450B.715
