Section 449.9832 - Establishment of policies for provision of services and care by persons under contract with or who are otherwise not employed by center

If services and care are provided at an ambulatory surgical center by persons who are under contract with the center or who are otherwise not employees of the center, the governing body shall establish policies for the provision of services and care by those persons, including, without limitation, policies relating to the supervision of such persons and the coordination of services and care. The policies must ensure that services and care are provided at the ambulatory surgical center in a safe and effective manner.
