Section 449.9811 - Program for review of surgical procedures and patient outcomes

An ambulatory surgical center shall establish a program for the review of surgical procedures and patient outcomes, including, without limitation, a review of the program for the control and prevention of infections and the rates of infections occurring at the center. The program must require the review to be conducted by a person who does not have a financial interest in the ambulatory surgical center.
