Section 449.Sec. 3.3 - NEW

"Dementia" means the loss of cognitive functioning and behavioral abilities, which may include, without limitation, memory, language skills, visual perceptions, problem solving, self-management and the ability to focus and pay attention, to the extent that the loss interferes with the daily life and activities of a person.
