Section 449.Sec. 14.3 - NEW
1. To obtain the approval of the Division as an instructor, a person must apply to the Division in the form prescribed by the Division. The application must include, without limitation:
(a) The name and address of the applicant;
(b) The resume of the applicant;
(c) Proof that the applicant meets the requirements of subsection 1 of section 15; and
(d) A statement signed by the applicant agreeing to comply with the requirements of subsection 2 of section 15 if the application is approved.
2. The Division may approve an instructor if it determines that the instructor meets the requirements of subsection 1 of section 15. Upon approving an instructor, the Division shall issue an approval code to the instructor.
3. Approval of an instructor expires 2 years after the date on which the approval was granted unless the instructor reapplies for approval in the manner prescribed by this section at least 60 days before the date on which the approval is scheduled to expire. If the approval of an instructor expires, the person or entity that offers the course must cancel any training scheduled to be taught by the instructor or reassign an approved instructor to teach the training.
