Section 449.426 - Construction and maintenance of facility; plan for emergency preparedness; safety from fire and other disasters1. The buildings of a psychiatric residential treatment facility must be solidly constructed with adequate space and safeguards for each resident. The condition of the physical plant and the overall environment of the psychiatric residential treatment facility must be developed and maintained in a manner that ensures the safety and well-being of residents.2. A psychiatric residential treatment facility shall develop and carry out a comprehensive plan for emergency preparedness which: (a) Addresses internal and external emergencies, both local and widespread; and(b) Is based on current standards for disaster management and fire safety.3. A psychiatric residential treatment facility shall ensure that the staff and residents of the psychiatric residential treatment facility are adequately protected from fire and other disasters.Nev.
