Section 449.61132 - Authorized obstetric careObstetric care provided at an obstetric center must be limited to:
1. Care provided immediately before, during and for not more than 24 hours after a vaginal birth to a maternal patient, if the care provided to the maternal patient does not include general or regional anesthesia; and2. Assessment of a maternal patient before the completion of 36 weeks of gestation, for preterm labor or premature rupture of membranes and the initiation of appropriate treatment according to established written protocols.Nev.
