Section 449.999472 - Determination of appropriate sanction: Initial assessment

The Bureau shall initially assess individual deficiencies or clusters of deficiencies according to the following initial factors:

1. The presence or absence of an immediate and serious threat to the health and safety of patients;

2. The severity of the deficiency; and

3. The scope of the deficiency.
