Section 449.39512 - Application for certificate and renewal: Proof of insurance coverage

An applicant for a certificate and for the renewal of a certificate must provide to the Division with the initial application for a certificate, with the application for renewal of a certificate and at such other times upon request of the Division, proof that the intermediary service organization maintains adequate insurance coverage against liabilities resulting from claims incurred in the course of operation. Such insurance coverage must include, without limitation:

1. Workers' compensation insurance pursuant to chapters 616A to 617, inclusive, of NRS for each personal assistant employed by the intermediary service organization;
2. Commercial general liability insurance in an amount not less than $2,000,000 in general aggregate coverage and not less than $1,000,000 per claim; and
3. Insurance coverage for employee dishonesty in an amount not less than $25,000 per claim.
