Section 449.74495 - Development of program of activities1. A facility for skilled nursing shall provide for each patient in the facility a program of activities that is developed in accordance with the comprehensive assessment of the patient conducted pursuant to NAC 449.74433.2. The program of activities must be directed by a member of the staff who: (a) Is a therapeutic recreational specialist or activities specialist and is eligible for certification by an organization for accrediting such specialists;(b) Within the preceding 5 years, has at least 2 years of experience working in a social or recreational program, 1 year of which was as a full-time employee in a patient activities program in a health care setting;(c) Is a licensed occupational therapist or occupational therapy assistant; or(d) Has completed a course of training for directing programs of activities for patients in a health care setting.Nev.
