Section 446.311 - Warewashing machines: Hot water sanitizing rinse1. Except as otherwise provided in subsection 2: (a) Warewashing machines that provide a fresh hot water sanitizing rinse must be equipped with a pressure gauge or similar device, including, without limitation, a transducer, which measures and displays the water pressure in the supply line immediately before entering the warewashing machine; and(b) If the flow-pressure measuring device is upstream of the fresh hot water sanitizing rinse control valve, the device must be mounted in a 1/4 inch or 6.4 millimeter Iron Pipe Size (IPS) valve.2.
