Section 446.895 - Quality and supply of water1. Water used in vending machines must be potable and from an approved source. If used, water filters or other devices used for water conditioning must be of a type which may be disassembled for periodic cleaning or replacement of the active element. Replacement elements must be handled in a sanitary manner.2. Vending machines directly connected to the water supply must be properly equipped with devices to prevent backflow. These devices must be:(a) Approved by the health authority;(b) Located to facilitate servicing and maintenance; and(c) Inspected and cleaned or replaced annually.Nev. Admin. Code § 446.895
