Section 446.598 - Storage of maintenance tools; disposal of mop water1. Maintenance tools, including, without limitation, brooms, mops, vacuum cleaners and similar items, must be: (a) Stored so they do not contaminate food, equipment, utensils, linens, and single-service and single-use articles; and(b) Stored in an orderly manner that facilitates cleaning the area used for storing the maintenance tools.2. Water that has been used for mopping: (a) Must not be left standing in any area used for preparing food or washing utensils; and(b) Must be disposed of properly and immediately after the mopping is completed.Nev.
