Section 446.0385 - "Vending machine" defined1. "Vending machine" means a self-service device that, upon the insertion of a coin, paper currency, token, card or key, or by optional manual operation, dispenses unit servings of food, in bulk or in packages, without the necessity of replenishing the device between each vending operation.2. The term does not include any device that dispenses only nuts, popcorn, ball gum, hard candy, prepackaged candy, cookies, crackers or similar snacks, beverages which are not potentially hazardous food (time/temperature control for safety food) or prepackaged ice.Nev.
