Section 445A.Sec. 11 - NEWIf a parameter of concern in a surface water or segment thereof is designated as having a tier 1 level of antidegradation protection, the Department:
1. Shall maintain and protect the water quality to meet the applicable water quality standards set forth in NAC 445A.11704 to 445A.2234, inclusive; and2. May authorize a new or expanded point source discharge if the Department determines that the water quality will not be degraded below the applicable water quality standards set forth in NAC 445A.11704 to 445A.2234, inclusive.Nev.
