Section 445A.514 - "Unit of nephelometric turbidity" defined

"Unit of nephelometric turbidity" means a measurement of the turbidity of water as determined by the ratio of the intensity of light scattered by the sample to the intensity of incident light, using instrumentation and methods as described in Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater.
