Section 445A.66745 - Operating storageExcept as otherwise provided in NAC 445A.66755:
1. An existing public water system must maintain an operating storage in such an amount as an engineer determines, based upon historical data and the system's capacity for the development and treatment of water, to be sufficient for the system to meet requirements for maximum day demand.2. A new public water system must, except as otherwise justified by an engineer and approved by the Division or the appropriate district board of health, maintain an operating storage equal to 700 gallons for each residential equivalent in the area of service of a metered system and 1,225 gallons for each residential equivalent in the area of service of an unmetered system.Nev.
