Section 445A.6643 - "Stop and waste valve" defined

"Stop and waste valve" means a valve installed in a meter box or valve box that allows a supply of water to a service line to be shut off and subsequently allows water from pipelines in the building or other property where the water is used to drain into the meter box or valve box.
