Section 445A.6636 - "Secondary standard" defined

"Secondary standard" means a standard which specifies a maximum level for constituents found in a public water supply which, if exceeded, may adversely affect the public welfare. The standards apply to constituents that adversely affect the taste, odor, appearance and other esthetic qualities of water.
