Section 445A.66325 - "Residential equivalent" defined"Residential equivalent" means the average daily demand for water that is typical of a private residence served by a single service connection. If the demand for water by nonresidential users is:
1. Known or estimated by an engineer, one "residential equivalent" shall be deemed to be 700 gallons per day for metered service connections and 1,225 gallons per day for unmetered service connections.2. Unknown and not estimated by an engineer, one "residential equivalent" shall be deemed to be: (a) The amount obtained when rates of flow for individual activities are computed and totalled, in accordance with Appendix I of the Uniform Plumbing Code, and the sum is divided by 700 gallons per day for metered service connections or 1,225 gallons per day for unmetered service connections; or(b) An aggregate total of 20 fixture units, as determined pursuant to Appendix A of the Uniform Plumbing Code.Nev.
