Section 445A.6603 - "Groundwater under the direct influence of surface water" defined"Groundwater under the direct influence of surface water" means any water beneath the surface of the ground that the Division or the appropriate district board of health has determined to have:
1. A significant occurrence of insects or other macroorganisms;2. Algae or large-diameter pathogens such as Giardia lamblia or Cryptosporidium spp.; or3. Significant and rapid shifts in water characteristics such as turbidity, temperature, conductivity or pH which closely parallel climatic or surface water conditions.Nev. Admin. Code § 445A.6603
