Section 445A.6595 - "Flapper valve" defined

"Flapper valve" means a formed or machined covering for the opening at the end of a pipeline that:

1. Is suspended from the top of the pipe; and

2. Opens and closes by rotating about a hinge in a manner that allows the valve to close under the influence of gravity.
