Section 445A.65765 - "Coliform bacteria" defined"Coliform bacteria" means a group of bacteria that inhabits the intestines of humans and animals, and is occasionally found in other habitats, including:
1. All aerobic and facultative anaerobic, Gram-negative bacilli that do not form spores and which cause the production of gas through the fermentation of lactose; and2. All bacteria that produce a dark purplish-green colony with a metallic sheen when the membrane-filter technique is used for the identification of coliform.Nev. Admin. Code § 445A.65765
