Section 445A.6552 - "Air and vacuum valve" defined

"Air and vacuum valve" means a dual-function valve that allows the entrance of air into a pipe or well which is being emptied, to prevent a vacuum, and allows air to escape from a pipe or well which is being filled or is under pressure.
