Section 444.7486 - Determination of statistically significant increase over background values1. Within 14 days after completing sampling and analysis, the owner or operator shall determine whether there is a statistically significant increase over background values for each parameter or constituent at each monitoring well required in the system for monitoring groundwater which applies to the municipal solid waste landfill unit, as determined pursuant to NAC 444.7487 or 444.749.2. In determining whether a statistically significant increase has occurred, the owner or operator shall compare the quality of the groundwater of each parameter or constituent at each monitoring well designated pursuant to NAC 444.7483 to the background value of that constituent, according to the statistical procedures and performance standards set forth in NAC 444.7485.Nev.
