Section 444.1968 - Water slides: Control of water1. A surge-free automatic water makeup system with a manual override must be provided and constructed so that the normal operating level of the splash pool is maintained at all times. Approved backflow protection must be provided.2. The velocity of water at the weir or inlet grate must not exceed 1 1/2 feet (0.4 meters) per second.3. A perimeter overflow gutter, if used, is not required directly under slide flumes or along the weirs that separate splash pools and pump reservoirs.4. Surface skimming devices may be used instead of a perimeter overflow gutter.Nev. Admin. Code § 444.1968
