Section 444.174 - Vacuum cleaners1. A vacuum cleaning system is required at each public bathing or swimming facility having a pool. It must be either a portable type or an integral part of the recirculation system.2. There must be sufficient suction and capacity to remove all normal accumulations from the floor of the pool.3. If the vacuum cleaner is an integral part of the recirculation system, sufficient connections must be located in the walls of the pool, at least 8 inches (20 centimeters) below the water level. The vacuum cleaner may be connected to the skimmers.4. Water vacuumed from outdoor pools and from pools with considerable sediment must be discharged to waste.5. Any visible dirt on the bottom or sides of the pool, and any visible scum or floating matter on the surface of the pool must be removed before the pool is used.Nev. Admin. Code § 444.174
