Section 444.150 - Sampling of water1. Samples of water from each public bathing or swimming facility must be submitted to the laboratory of the Health Division once a week for bacteriological testing. This requirement may be waived for facilities maintaining approved operating records and having dependable disinfection and filtration.2. Not more than 15 percent of the samples must either:(a) Contain more than 200 bacteria per milliliter, as determined by the standard (35°C) agar plate count; or(b) Show positive test (confirmed test) for coliform organisms in any of the five 10 milliliter portions of a sample or more than 1.0 coliform organisms per 50 milliliter if the membrane filter test is used.3. All samples must be collected, dechlorinated and examined in accordance with the procedures outlined in the latest edition of Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater (APHA).Nev.
