Section 444.8726 - Continuance of hearing1. If a request for hearing is made and granted pursuant to NAC 444.8716, the person cited may request a continuance of the hearing by delivering a written request to the hearing officer. The request may be granted or denied at the discretion of the hearing officer.2. Except as otherwise ordered by the hearing officer for good cause: (a) A request for continuance: (1) Must state the basis for the request; and(2) Must be received by the hearing officer not less than 5 business days before the scheduled date of the hearing.(b) A continuance will not be granted for more than 30 days after the date previously scheduled for the hearing.Nev.
