Section 440.340 - Documentary evidence: Sufficiency; investigation of case1. The State Registrar or the State Registrar's designated representative shall determine whether documentary evidence submitted is sufficient to warrant the filing of a delayed certificate of birth.2. The State Registrar or such a representative may deem any documentary evidence as insufficient and at any time may institute a thorough and independent investigation of a case.3. If an investigation is made, the State Registrar shall include a summary of findings as part of the record of birth.Nev. Admin. Code § 440.340
