Section 424.550 - Physical and mental health of foster parents and members of household1.Each foster parent must be in sufficiently good physical and mental health, and be physically and emotionally capable, to provide the necessary care to children. A foster parent or other member of the household may be required to have a physical or psychological examination or a diagnostic test performed If :1. There is reason to believe that the foster parent may not be physically or emotionally capable of meeting the needs of foster children; or2 The licensing authority representative has reason to believe that the health of the child in foster care may be in jeopardyNev.
