Section 391.136 - Endorsement in mathematics and science: Conditions for substitution of course workAn applicant for a secondary license with an endorsement in biological science, general science, mathematics or physical science shall be deemed to have satisfied the requirements for a major or minor in the field for which the applicant is seeking an endorsement if he or she provides evidence satisfactory to the superintendent of public instruction that he or she:
1. Has passed the competency test approved by the Commission pursuant to NAC 391.036 in that field and at the level of competence specified by the Commission for the endorsement;2. Holds a bachelor's or graduate degree from a regionally accredited college or university with a major in that field;3. Has earned at least as many semester hours of credit in his or her major field as the number of semester hours of credit required for an endorsement; and4. Meets all the requirements specified for secondary licensure pursuant to NAC 391.120.Nev. Admin. Code § 391.136
