Section 391.1306 - Major or minor in social studies1. A comprehensive major in social studies consists of 36 semester hours of credit as follows: (a) Twenty-one semester hours of credit which must include at least 3 semester hours in each of the following areas of study: (3) History of the United States;(4) History of the world;(7) Psychology or sociology; and(b) Fifteen semester hours of credit in any of the areas of study listed in subparagraphs (1) to (5), inclusive, of paragraph (a).2. A comprehensive minor in social studies consists of 24 semester hours of credit as follows: (a) Fifteen semester hours of credit which must include at least 3 semester hours in each of the following areas of study: (3) History of the United States;(4) History of the world; and(b) Six semester hours of credit in any of the areas of study listed in subparagraphs (1) to (5), inclusive, of paragraph (a); and(c) Three semester hours of credit in any of the following areas of study: (2) Psychology or sociology.Nev.
