Section 389.2935 - Fourth grade: Common Core Standards for mathematics1. The Common Core Standards for mathematics developed by the Common Core State Standards Initiative for the fourth grade are hereby adopted by reference as those standards existed on June 2, 2010. A copy of the Common Core Standards for mathematics for the fourth grade may be obtained at no cost from the Common Core State Standards Initiative on the Internet at http://www.corestandards.org.2. By the beginning of the fourth grade, pupils must know and be able to do everything required in the previous grades for mathematics offered in public schools.3. For the 2013-2014 school year and each school year thereafter, instruction in the fourth grade in mathematics must be designed so that by the completion of the fourth grade, pupils meet the standards adopted pursuant to subsection 1.Nev.
