Section 388A.180 - Submission of certificate of occupancy for certain facilities

If a charter school occupies a facility that is not being used as a public school by the school district in which the charter school is located, the charter school shall submit to the sponsor of the charter school a copy of the certificate of occupancy for the facility occupied by the charter school if a copy of the certificate of occupancy was not included in the application to form the charter school. A copy of the certificate of occupancy must be submitted to the sponsor of a charter school before the charter school provides instruction to pupils.
