Section 388A.320 - Amendment of charter contract: Request to acquire a new or additional facility1. If the governing body of a charter school wishes to amend its charter contract pursuant to NRS 388A.276 to acquire a new or additional facility, the governing body must submit to the sponsor of the charter school a written request for approval of the acquisition. The request must include any information prescribed by the sponsor and be submitted before the governing body takes any action to acquire the facility.2. The sponsor of a charter school may deny a request received pursuant to subsection 1 if the charter school was not rated in the first, second or third highest tier during the last rating of the charter school pursuant to the statewide system of accountability for public schools.3. Not later than 15 days after receiving a request pursuant to subsection 1, the sponsor of the charter school shall provide to the governing body of the charter school written notice of the approval or disapproval of the request.Nev.
