Section 388.125 - "Speech and language impairment" defined"Speech and language impairment" means a disorder relating to language, articulation, fluency or the use of the voice which adversely affects the educational performance of a pupil and which:
1. Is outside the range of acceptable variation in a given environment;2. Is inconsistent with the chronological or mental age of the person with the disability; or3. Affects the emotional, social or educational adjustment of the person with the disability.Nev. Admin. Code § 388.125
