Section 387.773 - Department to issue Nevada Charter School Audit Guide

The Department, in consultation with the sponsors of charter schools, will issue a Nevada Charter School Audit Guide which recommends the standards for an annual audit of a charter school pursuant to NAC 387.775. The standards must be based upon the best practices of sponsor entities nationally, including, without limitation, treating any foundation or other nonprofit corporation formed exclusively to benefit a charter school as a component unit of the charter school for the purposes of the audit.
