Section 361.358 - "Price-earnings ratio" defined

"Price-earnings ratio" means the ratio of the market price per share of the common stock of a specific company to the earnings per share of common stock of that company during a 12-month period. Typically, the ratio is based upon the current market price and the most recent 12-month period for which the earnings are known.
