"Income" means money or other benefits stemming from the ownership of property, generally received on a regular monthly or annual basis. The word "income" used alone has no specific appraisal significance, but must be modified to form terms such as gross income and net operating income. Revenue is the preferred measure for business and income is the preferred measure of the salaries of persons.
