Section 289.210 - Basic and reserve basic certificates: Nature1. The basic certificate authorizes the holder to perform the duties of a peace officer.2. The reserve basic certificate is only effective during those periods when the reserve officer is formally assigned by the agency to perform the duties of a peace officer.3. Each basic certificate is issued by the State of Nevada as a revocable privilege and may be denied, suspended or revoked in accordance with the provisions of this chapter.Nev. Admin. Code § 289.210
